Montreal's MTLàTABLE 2026 Brings 165 Restaurants Together

Montreal has launched the 14th edition of MTLàTABLE, a citywide culinary event bringing together 165 restaurants to celebrate the Canadian city's diverse food culture. Running from October 29 to November 15, 2026, the event invites residents and international visitors to explore Montreal's restaurant scene through specially designed fixed-price menus.

Organised by Tourisme Montréal and presented by Amex Canada, MTLàTABLE has become an established annual event for people interested in discovering the city's culinary offerings. This year's edition features 165 participating restaurants, including approximately 50 establishments taking part for the first time.

The programme offers diners an opportunity to experience different restaurants and cuisines at set prices. Participating restaurants are offering specially created menus at CAD $38, $55, $70 and $90, alongside a brunch option priced at CAD $28.

The menus have been developed specifically for the event, allowing participating chefs and restaurant teams to showcase their culinary styles, ingredients and creativity. The range of prices also provides visitors with different options when planning their dining experiences.

This year's participation includes established restaurants as well as newer additions to Montreal's dining scene. Two participating establishments, Hoogan et Beaufort and Sushi Nishinokaze, were awarded Michelin stars in 2026, adding further recognition to the city's growing culinary profile.

Beyond the dining offers, MTLàTABLE is designed to encourage visitors to explore different neighbourhoods and discover restaurants they might not ordinarily visit. By bringing together restaurants across the city, the event creates opportunities for local businesses to reach new customers and introduce their menus to a wider audience.

Another feature of the 2026 programme is the return of DÉVORE, a culinary guide that was introduced in 2025. Now in its second edition, the guide highlights the people, neighbourhoods, food trends and restaurant experiences that contribute to Montreal's culinary identity. It is intended to help residents and visitors continue discovering the city's food scene beyond the festival dates.

Montreal has developed an international reputation for its diverse culinary culture, influenced by French, North American and multicultural traditions. From neighbourhood cafés and bakeries to contemporary restaurants and international cuisine, the city offers a broad range of dining experiences.

Events such as MTLàTABLE also demonstrate how food can become an important part of a destination's tourism strategy. Instead of focusing exclusively on traditional sightseeing, visitors can experience a city through its restaurants, chefs, local ingredients and neighbourhood food culture.

For the participating businesses, the event provides an opportunity to attract new diners during the autumn season. For visitors, it offers a structured way to explore Montreal's restaurants while choosing from menus with clearly defined prices.

The 2026 edition runs until November 15, giving residents and travellers additional opportunities to experience the city's culinary offerings.
