YouTube Creator Struggle
YouTube is more competitive than ever, but small creators can still grow with strategy, consistency, and niche content.
Millie Bobby Brown is officially a mom. The Stranger Things star, 21, and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 23, announced that they have adopted a baby girl, sharing the joyful news on Instagram.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” Brown wrote in her post, ending with, “And then there were 3.”
Brown and Bongiovi, the son of music icon Jon Bon Jovi, married in May 2024 in a private ceremony before hosting a larger reception in Italy later that year. The actress has been open about her hopes for motherhood. During a March 2025 episode of the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, Brown revealed that she always wanted to be a mom, drawing inspiration from her own mother and grandmother.
“I don’t see having your own child as any different from adopting,” she said at the time. “For me, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and that’s what Jake and I stand by — our energy is always, ‘The door is open.’”
Though the couple did not share further details about their adoption, their journey comes at a younger age than most adoptive parents in the U.S. According to the National Council for Adoption, the average age for infant adoption is 35. The news arrives as Brown prepares to return to screens in the highly anticipated final season of Stranger Things, which premieres November 26 on Netflix.
